How to Care for your Fresh Blooms

For Fresh Hand Tied Bouquets>

Upon delivery of your fresh flowers, they should be unpackaged and placed in fresh clean water as soon as possible.

* Prepare your vase or jug by making sure it is very clean, you can sterilise your vase by adding a small drop of bleach to your fresh cool water or by adding a Milton tablet to the water before adding your flowers. This step will ensure you kill any bacteria in your vase which will prolong the life of your flowers.

*If you have been provided with a flower food sachet then this should be added to the water now. The packaging of this sachet is fully compostable so please dispose of appropriately. Some flowers can not tolerate flower food so if you haven't been provided with flower food please don't add anything else to your water it may decrease the life of some of your flowers.

* Cut your stems at a 45 degree angle. This will allow maximum uptake of water to the flower.

*Now you can display your beautiful blooms for all to admire!

*To prolong the life of your fresh cut flowers you should retrim your stems and completely change and refresh your flowers water every 2 days.
